Although Columbia College Hollywood does not offer on-campus housing, Columbia College Hollywood has established a relationship and pre-negotiated student rental rates with Kapi Residences to provide student housing.
These housing properties are safe, conveniently located student living/learning environments. Apartment unit rental rates vary depending on the apartment property, type of unit chosen, and the number of roommates who share one apartment.
Students who lease with Kapi will have improved facilities, such as:
• Fully furnished apartments.
• Included gas, water, electric, and high-speed internet utilities in your monthly rent.
• Online tenant portal for service orders and tracking.
• Dedicated residential assistance with your move-in and getting to know your neighborhood.
• Apartments are in advantageous locations. Both Broadway Palace Apartment and the Met Apartments are within 5-10 minutes’ walk from the CCH campus in downtown Los Angeles.
• Access to the apartment community GYM, swimming pool, lounge, BBQ, study library and other facilities such as game rooms/courts.
• Neighborhood: The exclusive Fashion District, the multi-purpose arena of the Staples Center, FIDM/Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, the quality entertainment complex of LA Live and the acclaimed Orpheus Theatre are all within reach.
*When choosing your housing location, keep in mind that CCH does not offer shuttle services.
Kapi Residences will use “American Campus Health Association (ACHA) Guidelines: Preparing for COVID-19” as a main guideline for its student apartments. For cleaning and preparing apartments for student’s move-in, Kapi will use vendors/cleaning companies that work with CDC’s guidelines on Covid-19 preparedness. Here are some practices Kapi will apply for its housing for students:
We encourage you to visit the Kapi website designed specifically for CCH students at http://kapihousing.com/cch/. This website will inform you how to get started with your housing needs, including all of the next steps.
For students who desire to arrange their own housing, the Columbia College Hollywood campus is located in a residential neighborhood and apartment options are abundant.

At CCH, we believe it is important to take a stand by demonstrating our willingness to promote and inspire systemic change. We must speak honestly and truthfully to the ugliness of racism that permeates throughout our society today. It may be an uncomfortable conversation for some, but it is an all-too familiar reality for anyone living in this country with black or brown skin. Hiding from it, ignoring it, or being silent about it will not make it go away.
